I have decided not to walk. Here's why:
- caps and gowns are expensive, worthless, and hideous
- I am in one of the largest colleges on campus so my convocation will last 2.5-3 hours
- said convocation will be in the Marriott Center, which means anyone in the audience would be too far away from me to even see me as I tromp across the stage
- I don't like walking across a stage and getting my picture taken in from of thousands of people
- it was stressing me out way too much when I was planning on walking, so now I just decided not to
I WILL, however:
- gladly accept graduation gifts (mostly kidding)
- be taking pictures of myself in a cap/gown for posterity
- be happy when my parents take me to Tucanos for my graduation dinner
- be going on a graduation trip this summer! Shaylee and Tye, get super excited to see me and Monte!

So I'm pretty dang jealous. Who made this whole go out to Shay's plan in June and didn't let me know in advance!
Very pleased you are graduating! Congrats. It is a wonderful life, learning at your leisure-if you want to. Wish I had had the guts to tell dad NO on graduation. You go girl!
Wait, you're taking pictures in your cap and gown, meaning that you bought it…so why not put it to good use next weekend and wear it for a few hours?! :)
we have a cap and gown you can borrow to take pictures--you can even borrow my tassel. It will be the wrong color, but what the heck.
someday i want to borrow a cap and gown to take pictures in b/c i didn't walk- kind of hard to when you're thousands of miles away with a new babe, as i had back then. happy for me that you are coming our way! i so wish maecy could come. wish we had planned more in advance. but we'll make the most of it. -tye- (kyle is logged in so it's going to say his name, not mine)
